Is Acharyaz free for teachers and candidates?
Yes, completely. Registering, building your profile, getting verified and applying to any number of vacancies are all free. Acharyaz never charges candidates at any stage.
What is the intro video and is it compulsory?
It is a short recorded introduction, roughly two to five minutes, where you talk about yourself and your teaching. Institutions use it to judge communication skills before calling you for an interview. It is not compulsory, but verified profiles with a video are shortlisted far more often.
How long does verification take?
Our admin team usually reviews institution documents and candidate profiles within one working day. You can keep using your dashboard while the review is pending.
Which roles can institutions post?
Both teaching and non-teaching. PRT, TGT, PGT, subject teachers, lecturers, trainers, coordinators and principals, as well as librarians, lab assistants, counsellors, accountants, admin staff, wardens, PET and sports coaches, dance and music teachers, and more.
Who can see my profile as a candidate?
Only verified institutions searching for staff. Your phone number and email stay hidden until you apply to a vacancy or an institution shortlists you. Privacy mode hides your name entirely if you are job hunting while employed.
