Terms of use

1. Who we are

Acharyaz is an introduction platform operated from Hyderabad, India. We connect educational institutions with candidates for teaching and non-teaching roles. We are not an employment agency, we do not employ candidates, and we are not party to any employment contract formed between an institution and a candidate.

2. Using the platform

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information about yourself or your institution. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done through your account. One person or institution, one account.

3. Rules for institutions

You must be a genuine, registered educational institution and be able to evidence that on request. Before any vacancy is published we verify a registration certificate, affiliation number, or GST registration with address proof.

You may never charge a candidate any fee at any stage — not for applying, not for an interview, not for a placement. Doing so results in immediate removal with no refund.

Every vacancy must state a real salary range and a genuine locality. Vacancies must be real openings you intend to fill.

Candidate details obtained through Acharyaz may be used only to consider that person for the role you posted. You may not resell, publish, or pass them to a third party.

4. Rules for candidates

Use of Acharyaz is free and always will be. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, qualifications, documents and intro video. Uploading someone else's certificates or impersonating another person results in permanent removal.

5. Verification, and its limits

We check institution registration documents and candidate qualifications on a reasonable-effort basis. A verified badge means we checked what is stated on our verification page — it is not a guarantee of conduct, solvency, or job quality. Use your own judgement before accepting any role or hiring any person.

6. Payments

Institution subscriptions are billed in advance through Razorpay. Prices exclude GST unless stated. A plan gives access for its stated period; renewing extends from the existing expiry date. See our refund policy below.

7. Refunds

If the platform is materially unavailable for more than seven consecutive days within a paid period, contact us and we will extend your plan by the lost days or refund pro rata, at your choice. We do not refund because a particular vacancy went unfilled, since hiring outcomes depend on factors outside our control. Requests must be made within 30 days of the payment.

8. Content you upload

You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant us permission to store and display it for the purpose of operating the platform — for example, showing your profile to institutions you apply to. You can delete your content at any time.

9. Suspension

We may suspend or remove any account that breaches these terms, particularly any institution that asks a candidate for money, posts a fake vacancy, or misuses candidate data.

10. Liability

Acharyaz introduces people. We are not responsible for hiring decisions, salaries, contracts, workplace conduct, or disputes between an institution and a candidate. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

11. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by Indian law, with courts in Hyderabad, Telangana having jurisdiction.
