Privacy policy

1. What we collect

When you register: name, email address, mobile number, and whether you are a candidate or an institution.

If you are a candidate: subjects, boards, class levels, experience, expected salary, notice period, locality, skills, achievements, and any resume, certificates or intro video you upload.

If you are an institution: institution name, type, address, affiliation or registration number, and the registration document you upload.

Automatically: basic usage data such as pages viewed and searches run, so we can improve the platform. If you arrived from an advertisement, our advertising pixel may record that a signup occurred — never who you are or what you uploaded.

2. Why we collect it, and your consent

We use it for one purpose: connecting candidates with institutions hiring for relevant roles. When you register you tick a box consenting to exactly that, and we record when you did. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

3. Who can see your information

Candidates: verified institutions can see your profile, qualifications, resume and intro video. Your phone number and email are released only when you apply to their vacancy, or when they unlock your profile on a paid plan. Privacy mode hides your name from search entirely until you choose to apply.

Institutions: your name and details are not shown on public job listings. Candidates see only the board, institution type and locality until you shortlist them. Your registration document is visible only to our administrators and is never published.

We do not sell personal data. We do not pass it to anyone outside the purpose above.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to operate: Hostinger for hosting in India, Razorpay for payments (they handle card details, we never see them), and an email provider for verification codes and notifications. Each processes data only to deliver its service.

5. How long we keep it

While your account is active, and for up to 12 months afterwards in case you return. Payment records are kept for seven years as tax law requires. Delete your account and your profile, uploads and applications are removed.

6. Your rights

You can see and edit everything on your profile at any time. You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account entirely. Write to us and we will act within 30 days.

7. Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed and never in readable form. Uploaded documents are stored with unguessable filenames. Access to administrative tools is restricted to our team.

8. Children

Acharyaz is for adults seeking or offering employment. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes and contact

We will update the date above if this changes. For any privacy question, or to request deletion of your data, contact us.
